The Spinal Research Laboratory works closely with the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.  Projects are closely monitored by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees (IACUC), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and follow strict guidelines according to the Use of Animals for Research (Animal Welfare Acts).
